How to benefit?

Career (undergraduate) and graduate students enrolled at CES University can access the benefits of the Program. They should be attentive to the calls that are made during the year to fill out the support request form.

Follow the steps

1. Student registration by web form

A percentage of the enrollment for the period to be enrolled will be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at CES University, with good academic performance and who present financial difficulties.

To apply you must take into account:

  • Take at least the second semester
  • Applies to all socioeconomic strata
  • If you have been a beneficiary of FSC in previous periods, you must have successfully completed the forgiveness of hours.
  • Minimum average of 3.5 in the previous period
  • Not having missed more than 2 subjects in the entire academic process
  • Academic and attitudinal reference by the faculty (this reference will be requested by Bienestar Institucional directly from the faculty)
  • Economic difficulty that puts your stay at the University at risk.

Process to apply:

  • Fill out the registration form. Registration – INCLUDES
  • Compliance with the conditions will be validated through: Academic average delivered by admissions (in this case, the academic average of the 2020-1 semester will be taken)
  • Send grade certificate and academic average of the previous period, to the email ptrabajosocial@ces.edu.co
  • Reference given by the faculty (this reference will be requested directly by the Institutional Welfare office)
  • In some cases, a virtual interview will be scheduled to expand the current situation of each student.
  • Presentation of the reports to the Scholarship Committee.
  • Notification of those selected.

If you receive the support, keep in mind that:

  • The support assigned for enrollment will be applied in the period 2021-1
  • You must forgive 20 hours in the semester as a commitment and consideration for the support received.
  • If you wish to continue with the support, you must present yourself again to the call for the following semester

2. Selection of quotas for each support by the committee

Institutional Welfare performs the review and prioritization of cases, according to the financial need of the student and is presented to the committee for the allocation of economic resources.

3. Notification and award of support

Selected students will be notified and summoned to an informational meeting held by Bienestar Institucional. They will be told that they must perform 20 hours of social work in return for the benefit obtained.

We support national and international academic mobilities and field trips. Undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at CES University, with good academic performance and who have financial difficulties to carry out these activities, can apply for this support.

This is an Opportunity to study a second language in our LANGUAGE CENTER, if you study at CES University and you have financial difficulties to pay for these complementary studies.

This support consists of $ 100,000 per month during the 4 academic months. The selected students will be notified and must deliver the following documentation at the Institutional Welfare reception: RUT, copy of the identity document and bank certification of the savings account that must be in the student’s name.

The support consists of $ 6,500 pesos per day through the registration of the student’s fingerprint. Those selected will be contacted by Bienestar to carry out this registration. They should take into account that the support is not cumulative, that is, if one day they did not use the 6,500, the next day it will be renewed, it can be combined between coffee shops and in the case of ordering a product that has a value higher than balance, you can give the surplus.

Hours: 6:00 am to 8:00 pm from Monday to Friday. Benefit value: $ 6,500 from Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm (not accumulative). The benefit is personal and non-transferable. The following coffee shops have this benefit:

FEEDING THROUGH BONDS

In the following coffee shops:

· Chepas – food truck area building C
· 3/4 grill – food truck area building C
· Fast Food– food truck area building C
· Cocomelón – 10th floor building B

This support consists of 100,000 per month during the 4 academic months. Aimed at foreign students who have accommodation expenses in the city. Support will be delivered through collection accounts that must be delivered to Institutional Welfare: Documentation: RUT, copy of identity document and bank certification of the savings account that must be in the student’s name.

The students selected to receive this support will have the possibility of receiving a tablet, computer or cell phone as a loan during the semester. They must commit to make good use of this resource and deliver it again in the initial conditions.

  • The beneficiaries must sign a commitment of active participation in the activities programmed by the CES Solidarity Fund.
  • Everyone is required to participate in monetary collection activities. If it is not possible to attend, part of the planning must be done.
  • It is compulsory to attend workshops, activities, events, meetings.
  • An evaluation will be made monthly on the participation in the different activities agreed for the monetary collection.
  • Students must forgive 20 hours per semester, plus participation in the different activities arranged for monetary collection.
  • The beneficiary students of the Fund will have to present themselves again in the call at the beginning of each semester because there will be no automatic renewal of support.
  • These activities and citations will be communicated through institutional email.
