Neuroanatomy and neurophysiology are the knowledge base of basic, clinical, and surgical neuroscience and are fed back and rewritten according to the advances in science at the level of images, pathology, molecular biology, proteomics, genomics, neuroplasticity and neurogenesis.
The cerebral cortex is a dynamic territory with high connectivity, involved in different neurological, psychiatric and cognitive disorders that are considered not only a diagnostic challenge but also a therapeutic challenge in rehabilitation by health professionals.
The proposal is born within the initial description for students of the areas of deepening in neuroscience in undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, given the growing need to correlate the structure and function of the cerebral cortex in complex medical protocols such as functional surgery and epilepsy surgery and the subsequent establishment of neuro-rehabilitation, clinical neurology and neuropsychiatry processes.
