The emotions fulfill a function of adaptation to the context of learning and cultural transmission, within the educational mission the interest in the emotional development of the student and the teacher must be reflected.
This Learning and Development of Emotional Self-Control program is an approach that responds to that need to incorporate the development of emotional intelligence; beginning the work with teachers to promote changes that impact on themselves and then on the students, as well as in the environment and the different relationships that occur within the educational environment.
This course seeks to provide primary education teachers with strategies to
develop emotional self-control through the analysis, recognition and reflection of what
what these are, applying the various techniques and thus maintaining a healthy emotional environment within the classroom. To achieve this purpose, 4 thematic units have been designed that will seek to develop this capacity.
Teachers
Master class
The master lesson as a teaching method is based on the verbal transmission of knowledge by a teacher before an audience. It allows the student to achieve the learning of knowledge, while including audiovisual media as a teaching strategy. It is intended that the student does not assume a passive role within the teaching process, but rather poses questions and contributes ideas that enrich learning and generate theoretical debate with the students from the exchange of ideas and questions from the members of the group, to prepare them to practical exercises.
Practical classes
The objective of the practical class is for students to execute, expand, deepen and integrate the theoretical class with practical concepts.
Case study
In the educational process, the representation of a situation of reality as a basis for reflection and learning has been used as a significant and transcendent learning opportunity to the extent that those who participate in its analysis manage to get involved and commit both in the discussion of the case as in the group process for its reflection.
Around this methodology you can:
- Analyze a problem.
- Determine a method of analysis.
- Acquire agility in determining alternatives or courses of action.
