Couple problems today are one of the main requests for psychological help, in our society, the divorce rate grows continuously, where during 2019 there were 99,444 cases of nullity, separation and divorce, which was a rate of 2.1 per 1,000 inhabitants, the trend shows an accelerated increase in the number of divorces and a slow decrease in marriages. Separation, divorces and their subsequent effects on the lives of the people they affect, exert great pressure on the psychological and physical functioning of individuals, in addition to the stress produced by changes more often suggests physical and psychological illnesses . (Bloom, 1975).
The demand for psychological intervention to reduce these problems increases while academic teaching looks for the necessary tools to effectively face couples therapy. This course provides the necessary bases from a totally practical point of view to carry out couples therapy effectively.
