Psychometrics is consolidated as a discipline that, among other things, deals with the needs of measurement and evaluation of various constructs in the different fields of action of psychology (basic, social, educational, organizational, legal, clinical, neuropsychology, etc. ).
What is sought with the seminar is to provide the psychologist with a broad vision regarding the use and management of psychological measurement instruments, in specific areas, of significant relevance within psychology through the MMPI-2, Scl90-R and 16 Pf-5.
This instruction aims not only to delve into the technical aspects of the application of the tests, but also to evaluate their use in the area of Legal - Forensic and Clinical Psychology, specifically in the assessment of damage to mental health, the detection of simulation and the dissimulation and the psychological consequences of traumatic events.

- Know the dissimulation measures of MMPI-2, Scl90-R and 16Pf-5 (plus the reformulated measures of MMPI-2-RF –Fariña, et all, 2017).
- Evaluate the psychological damage with strict decision criteria (Vilariño, et all, 2009).
- -Classify the psychological damage correctly after the simulation differential diagnosis.
- -Know the limitations of psychometric tests (Greene, 2011).

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: - Develop the ability to apply, correct and interpret the MMPI-2 personality test above the commercial manual.
- Know the analysis application of the Scl90-R Symptom Inventory, and its interpretation, clinically and forensically, with a perspective of harm and with a perspective of predictive validity.
- Show the application of 16 Pf-5 in clinical and forensic settings, with an approach from convergent validity.
