Obesity as a disease is the most prevalent worldwide, approximately 1.9 billion affected individuals, also has a large number of comorbidities that in turn lead the causes of mortality worldwide, Obesity has reached epidemic proportions worldwide, and each year, at least 2.8 million people die from obesity or overweight. However, despite knowing these data, it continues to grow at such a level that the PAHO forecast foresees for 2030 that 40% of the Latin American population will present obesity. The approach to obesity is so broad that it should not be simplified, and the development of interdisciplinary groups has been strengthened worldwide to provide adequate and timely response from patients. This is why CLA / CES, committed to continuing medical education, invites you to its second obesity seminar: Sharing the best practices in the management of Obesity.
