Mental health problems are very common and affect a large part of the population in a direct or indirect relationship. The presence of a mental health disorder is also a risk factor for the development of certain physical problems and vice versa. A major challenge in the field of mental health is understanding how biological, psychosocial, and environmental factors contribute to the development and progression of these problems. However, the investigation faces certain obstacles. In the case of the high prevalence of mental disorders and the high rate of relapses, it is not easy to clarify these objectives, there is still evidence that allows us to identify or predict the risks of onset or recurrence (recurrence) of the disease.
