How to apply for an academic exchange?

Here we show you the steps to follow to make your exchange.

Remember that you must do this procedure 5 or 6 months in advance of the semester in which you want to leave.

  • Exchanges in the first semester of the year: contact the exchange coordination in June of the previous year.
  • Exchanges in the second half of the year: contact the exchange coordination in January of the same year.

Before the exchange

  1. Contact the Office of Global Affairs to express your interest in an academic exchange.
  2. You will receive advice from the exchange coordinator.
  3. Complete the online form at IncluCES.
    * Note: check and renew your passport if necessary.
  4. Keep in touch with the CES University exchange coordinator and, if accepted, attach the additional documentation at Included.
    * Note: process immigration permits if you are a foreign student.

During the exchange

  1. You will receive a welcome and a tour of the campus.
  2. Maintain regular contact with the Office of Global Affairs.
  3. Attend the wrap-up meeting with the person in charge of exchanges at CES University.
  4. Complete the feedback form at Included.
  5. Request the exchange certificate and notes from the person in charge of the exchange at CES University.

Before the exchange

  1. Request advice or find out about the exchange you want.
  2. Request authorization from the faculty.
  3. Diligence the online form at IncluCES.
  4. Complete the required documentation after being accepted by the institution in Included.
    * Note: check and renew your passport if necessary.
  5. Fill out the forms for the 20% discount on tuition, these will be sent by the assistant of the Office of Global Affairs.
    * Note: this item only applies to those students who will carry out an exchange abroad equal to or greater than 30 days.
  6. Process the immigration permits in case of being an exchange abroad.

During the exchange

  1. Maintain regular contact with the Office of Global Affairs and the head of the faculty.
  2. Fill out the feedback form at Included.
  3. Request the exchange certificate from the person in charge at the institution where you are.

Before the exchange
