What is cooperation?
Cooperation is a joint action between one or several institutions and organizations, public and / or private, national and / or international, in order to achieve common goals and support development.
The CES University establishes alliances for inter-institutional cooperation, which allow strengthening internationalization processes in the fields of teaching, research, innovation and extension, as well as generating global impacts on social, environmental and economic sustainability.

1. Disease prevention and health promotion
We promote disease prevention and promote health through different projects and consultancies / advice such as:
• Training of community health agents
• Development of vaccines and medicines
• Child growth and development – Nutrition
• Healthy living habits
• Comprehensive care and intervention for vulnerable populations, children and mothers.
• Prevention of oral diseases.
• Physiotherapeutic intervention to improve the quality of life and development.
• Prevention of maternal, infant and newborn mortality.
• Improvement of the sanitary conditions of the communities.
• Empowerment and community health • Prevention and control of tropical diseases and communicable diseases.
• Protection, empowerment and inclusion for people with disabilities.
2. Ecosystem protection
These are our approaches to ecosystem protection:
• Protection of threatened species and attention to wildlife.
• Protection of native species by conserving reforestation.
• Water systems as restoration processes.

3. Mental health
Our approaches in Mental Health are:
• Prevention and early intervention in mental health.
• Intervention in childhood, adolescence and youth.
• Mental health in the post-conflict.
• Promotion of the integral development of early childhood through the guarantee of their rights.
4. Peace and community development
Our approaches to peace and community development are:
• Training for peace building.
• Agreement and conflict resolution.

5. Innovation Promotion
We have 35 research groups – 26 recognized by Colciencias.

Social management
Channel to positively impact the community, delivering knowledge of the organization to promote socio-economic transformation, generate inclusion and improve the quality of life of the beneficiaries of the programs through attention to their needs and problems.
During 2017, we invested $ 2,561,375,878 in social management programs, impacting more than 2,000 people directly and about 14,000 indirectly in different regions of the country.
Sustainable development
From the Sustainability Department have also been carried out:
• 907 continuing education programs, benefiting 22,457 participants
• 99 advice and services aimed at solving a specific problem, demand or need expressed by environmental actors such as companies, organizations, the State or the university community itself
• 141 cultural activities and events, thus delivering different spaces, for enjoyment, recreation and cultural training.
