Eye and skin irritation

We invite you to know our Eye irritation and dermal tests.

EVIDENCE USE AND APPLICATION
Dermal Irritation and Corrosion

(OECD 431 y 439)

Skin corrosion and irritation tests in vitro, allow to determine if a substance has a potential risk of causing irritation or corrosion at the dermal level. It is based on organotypic reconstructions of human epidermis which simulates with a high degree of fidelity the physiological characteristics of the upper part of human skin. These methodologies have been validated by ECVAM and are accepted by regulatory organizations internationally as a replacement for irritation tests on experimental animals.

It is widely used for the evaluation of finished product and / or raw materials to which the functional properties of the finished product are attributed.

Serious eye damage and irritation

(OECD 492)

Eye irritation tests in vitro, make it possible to determine if a substance has a potential risk of causing eye irritation. It is based on organotypic reconstructions of the human cornea, which simulates with a high degree of fidelity the physiological characteristics of the human cornea. These methodologies have been validated by ECVAM and are accepted by regulatory organizations internationally as a replacement for irritation tests on experimental animals.

It is widely used for the evaluation of finished product and / or raw materials to which the functional properties of the finished product are attributed.
