Biomechanics and Movement Analysis Laboratory

The laboratory has a motion capture system that allows a kinematic analysis of gait and sports gestures. It also has surface electromyography equipment and others of its own development that serve for the indirect measurement of the projection of the center of gravity and a qualitative pedometer. In this space you can carry out activities such as:

• Teaching: practical activities of different Physiotherapy subjects are carried out.

• Research: projects are developed in the lines of Biomechanics and Human Movement, Sports Biomechanics and Computational Biomechanics.

• Extension: A portfolio of services is being developed to offer kinematic gait analysis and surface electromyography.
