To the sound of violins, double bass, saxophone and flute, the new Chamber Group CES debuted at the University Conference.
"We have not been formed for a long time, but our purpose is to make this group a great project, where we will include typical Colombian and classical rhythms, corridors, tangos, among others ," said Alejandro Orozco Muñoz, director of the group.
In this debut in Art at the Hall of Artistic and Cultural Promotion of Institutional Well-being and Human Development, each of the members of the new group, undergraduate students of Medicine, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Technology in Pre-Hospital Care, Nursing, Dentistry and Nutrition were presented. and Dietetics; and they offered the attendees the songs Tolú by Lucho Bermúdez, La Gata Golosa by Fulgencio García and Libertango by Astor Piazzolla.
Arte al Salón is a space created for the appreciation and dialogue with dance, music and theater, in order to bring the university community closer to the training processes and the different artistic projection groups that are coordinated from the office of Institutional Wellbeing and Human Development.
All members of the University who dominate an instrument with rubbed strings or winds can participate in the group and contribute to its strengthening.
