A show of dance, music and artists with an international tour will be what the dance show will bring, Así es Colombia, a proposal by the El Firulete National Ballet that will be presented this August 30, at the Guillermo Cárdenas Jaramillo Theater, of the CES University For a good cause, raise resources for the CES Solidarity Fund.
“This is Colombia is the dance show that the Firulete National Ballet offers us. It is a show that will offer us a tour of all the regions of the country”, Explained Daniel Ramírez Vásquez, coordinator of Cultural Promotion of the U. Sustainability Office.
The CES Solidarity Fund was created to manage resources to support students with financial difficulties. In addition, social programs are developed aimed at communities with social inequality.
“The CES Solidarity Fund is a strategy created by our University to support our students in different types of accompaniments such as food, transportation, tuition, among others. We currently have about 250 beneficiary students”, Carolina Posada Ortiz, psychologist of Institutional Wellbeing and Human Development, added.
For example, one of the beneficiaries of the resources allocated by the Fund is the student in the seventh semester of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry career, Melissa Ardila Madrigal, who receives financial support to pay her tuition.
“With the CES Solidarity Fund, they help me with financial aid to pay my tuition. This allows me to continue my studies and train as a great professional”, Expressed Ardila Madrigal.
The show Así es Colombia will be this August 30 at 7:30 pm at the Guillermo Cárdenas Jaramillo Theater of the CES University, in the El Poblado neighborhood of Medellín. The tickets have a cost of 35,000 pesos per person. The entire value of the tickets will go 100% to the Fund.
