By 2020, the CES University Founders Library he subscribed to a platform called Overdrive. Through it, digital books and audiobooks are available, providing the university community with virtual access to literary and general interest works, according to the north proposed by our rector, Dr. Jorge Julián Osorio Gómez, of a new era of virtuality In the institution.

“OverDrive is a platform different from the other scientific databases offered by the Library. There you can find books and audiobooks of literature of all genres, novels, poetry, history, essays and others ”, reported Nora Quiroz Gil, head of the Fundadores Library.

Some of the books that can be found on the web portal are: One Hundred Years of Solitude, Hopscotch, The Name of the Rose, The Country of Women, among others.

The site is accessed via the web from also by the app with the same platform name, which can be downloaded from any mobile device with Android or iOS system.

It should be noted that the digital platform lends the books for fourteen days and after the expiration date, the book will be automatically disabled. Just as if it were a physical book.

"If the book you are looking for is not found, Overdrive has an option in which users can recommend any copy and the Library will be in charge of evaluating the relevance of including it in the platform," clarified Alexander Martínez Martínez, assistant of systems of information from the Fundadores CES Library.

University graduates also have access to this platform to enjoy reading the books and the services that the Fundadores Library has for them.
