Following the guidelines adopted by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Colombia and the Secretariats of Health of Antioquia and Medellín, the CES University began on March 16 the academic and administrative activities in the virtual modality, CES at home, as a preventive and containment measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Among the decisions adopted by the institution are the suspension of face-to-face classes for undergraduate, graduate and continuing education; the beginning of academic and administrative activities in virtual mode; the restriction in the provision of services to external public in the service centers of Envigado and Sabaneta, among other decisions.

The guidelines are taken by the Primary Committee of the CES University, led by the Rector, Dr. Jorge Julián Osorio Gómez, and representatives of the General Secretariat, the Administrative and Financial Directorate, the Colombian Institute of Tropical Medicine - ICMT-, the School of Graduates, the Faculty of Medicine, Information Technologies - TI-, Virtual CES and Organizational Communication.
