With the show He: the story of his passion, the Metropolitan Opera University CES returns to the stage this next Wednesday, July 24 in Medellín.
More than 50 national artists will perform in a chamber orchestra, adult choir, children's choir and soloist format.
This Wednesday, July 24, at the CES University of Medellín, the opera He: the story of his passion will be presented, composed in 1981 by the teacher Augusto Cortés Cárdenas.
This is a lyrical show for the whole family sung in Spanish and will be presented in the format for chamber orchestra, adult choir, children's choir and soloists. It is about the life of Jesus, the son of God on earth and his message of love and brotherhood for all peoples.
This will be the first stage production in the history of the Metropolitan Opera University CES in which there will be a cast of more than 50 top-class national artists. The baton will be in charge of the teacher César Baldovino and the staging will be directed by Shamir Rojas.
The event will take place at the Guillermo Cárdenas Jaramillo Theater of CES University on Wednesday, July 24 at 7:30 pm and the doors will open to the public from 6:30 pm.
