In the midst of the contingency due to the coronavirus, the Veterinary and Zootechnical Center (CVZ) of the CES University devised a way to approach its patients in order to provide some services, avoiding that its users run risks of contagion by leaving home .
It is about making general and specialized consultations through the virtual modality, since now dogs, cats, horses and even unusual patients such as birds, hamsters, chameleons, among others, will connect with their owners through the internet to go to the veterinary doctor .
“The owners must contact the telephone line 3360260 to request the medical appointment, then they will receive a confirmation email and at the assigned time they must connect. There, direct contact will be established with the veterinarian, the owner and the patient to attend to them in the virtual office ”, detailed Carolina Cataño Gil, manager of the Center.
Appointments have a 20% discount on the rate paid for face-to-face consultation. In addition, it provides the user with the support that, in case of not achieving their objective through this means, they can go as a second option in person in case it is an emergency, this without any additional cost.
The virtual attention is from Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm and additionally the medications that the patient requires will be taken home.
