The doctor Jorge Julián Osorio Gómez, current rector of the CES University, an institution of higher education of Medellín accredited in high quality, was one of the seven personalities chosen to integrate the new board of directors of the organization PharmaCielo Colombia Holdings SAS
The company is a subsidiary of the Canadian multinational PharmaCielo Ltda, the main grower and producer of medicinal grade cannabis oils and extracts in Colombia, with its main headquarters in the municipality of Rionegro, in eastern Antioquia.
In his academic career, Dr. Osorio Gómez has a Master's Degree in University Management, a Master's Degree in Public Health with a mention in Health Services Administration with maximum distinction. Also, the rector of the CES University has integrated or chairs the boards of directors of the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, the Somer Clinic, Savia Salud EPS, Clofán Clinic, Las Vegas Clinic, CES Clinic, General Hospital of Medellín, ESE Metrosalud , Coomedal, the Colombian Society of Epidemiology, among other regional and national institutions.

The new board will be chaired by Carlos Manuel Uribe, manager of Flores El Capiro. Along with Dr. Osorio Gómez will also be Claudia Jiménez, former ambassador to Switzerland; María Fernanda Saldarriaga, leader of New Businesses and Operations at Radical Venture LLC; Silvia Ochoa, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Comfama; Andrés Fernandéz Acosta, former director of the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA); and Federico Cock-Correa, horticulturist and member of the board of Asocolflores.
