Three and a half years ago the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences was born and during this time the Nutritionist Dietitian, PhD, has been at the forefront. Piedad Roldán Jaramillo, dean of the Faculty and who was re-elected in July.

In this first stage of the faculty, the consolidation of the teaching team, the growth of the undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, the creation of the first Master's Degree in Sports Nutrition in the country, the Center for Advanced Studies in Nutrition and Food CESNUTRAL, the launch of the institutional restaurant N, Cocina y Nutrición and the recognition of the NUTRAL research group in the Colciencias national research system.

The Superior Council of the CES University re-elected Piedad Roldán Jaramillo to continue with her projects with the Faculty, which this time is aimed at generating a greater offer in postgraduate courses.

"The line of growth that was presented to the Superior Council and for the projection of the Faculty is in line to strengthen the processes, consolidate them and from that generate lines of growth around postgraduate degrees for our future graduates of nutrition and dietetics " concluded the doyenne.
