As a way of making the veterinary services that the CES University Veterinary and Zootechnics Center (CVZ) offers closer and more accessible to the municipality of Medellín, it will open a new headquarters in Loma Los Yarumos, La Frontera sector of El Poblado .
Its offer will be very varied with specialized services of physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, dermatology, oncology, external consultation, hospitalization for fauna, exclusive space for cats, pharmacy, laboratory and as a novelty it will have a petshop, hairdresser.
"The importance of a new headquarters is the ability to impact more users and grow the segment of the veterinary service as such, responding to the existing demand," said Carolina Cataño Gil, manager of the CVZ who stipulates that the opening will be in mid-April.
For its part, a petshop and a hairdresser are under construction in the central courtyard of the headquarters. With this expansion of its portfolio of services, CVZ users will be able to find specialized concentrates, including non-conventional pet food (rabbits, ducks, ferrets, ornamental birds), medicines, a boutique and piñatería.
Hairdressing or grooming, a trend in the veterinary sector, will cover everything related to keeping canines in optimal hygienic-sanitary conditions and aesthetically characterized according to their breed (preparation for bathing, unknotting, drying and brushing).
With each of these initiatives, it is expected to have a much more comprehensive service in relation to pets and animal welfare. It should be added that the new tomography service will soon be available to the public at Envigado headquarters.
In this way, the CES University through the CVZ will continue to become a benchmark in the contribution to the veterinary medicine labor sector, added the manager.
