The Business Monitor of Corporate Reputation (Merco), one of the benchmark monitors in the world, published its 2020 report on the most responsible companies with the best corporate governance. Within the top 100 of organizations is the CES University, located in position 82 within all sectors and ninth in the education sector - universities.
CES University joined these monitors for 3 years. Merco has 6 rankings and the institution is classified within the top 100 in three of them: Merco Talent, Merco Empresas and Merco Responsabilidad y Gobierno Corporativo.
“Being part of this monitor is a reflection of the recognition of the permanent work of our university. In this case of the ranking of responsibility and corporate governance, the different actors value, according to their perception, the commitment of the organizations and their contribution to society, also the ethical value, transparency and good governance ”, said Tatiana Molina Velásquez, chief of sustainability.
The ranking is open and free. Participation and evaluation depend on the recognition given by different audiences through surveys. Among the factors taken into account are responsibility towards employees, commitment to the environment and contribution to society.
The methodology used is transparent and exhaustive. 57,589 surveys and 5 evaluations were analyzed and 14 sources of information were taken into account among executives, experts in social responsibility, financial analysts, journalists, government members, NGOs, union members, consumers, social media managers, among others. To this is added information provided by the organization and the entire process is verified through an independent review by KPMG.
