Medellín, April 7, 2021
Given the current health situation facing the country due to COVID-19 and the declaration of hospital emergency in several clinics in Medellín, the CES University informs the entire university community that it welcomes the measures decreed by the departmental government announced this 7th of April.
Due to the above, we inform that the university in its populated headquarters will close as ofToday April 7 at 5:00 pm and until April 14 at 6:00 am, due to strict quarantine, which means that administrative and academic activities, such as laboratory and simulation practices, must be reprogrammed by area managers, teachers, and their respective faculties.
For academic and administrative activities, we will continue with the technology-assisted face-to-face model without affecting the schedule in each of the faculties and support areas.
Regarding the service centers, the IPS CES Sabaneta will also suspend its services and close the headquarters during the daysApril 9, 10 and 11 and will resume on Monday 12 at 6:00 am. The Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Center (CVZ) will keep its emergency service enabled 24/7, complying with all biosecurity protocols during this weekend.
Today health professionals are facing the most challenging time. We are sure that our colleagues at the CES Clinic and other institutions in the region are giving the best of their talent, working with effort and commitment every day, to take care of patients and ensure their speedy recovery.
The University will inform you of the new measures to be implemented. In case of having to attend the Poblado headquarters, you must report it to the email@example.com
The best way to get out of this difficult time for humanity together is to take care of yourself and thus take care of others.
