We train autonomous, responsible and sensitive physiotherapists in the face of the natural and social context.
To belong to our program you must be a person of integrity, responsibility and a citizen committed to the common good.
With a good foundation in the natural, social and exact sciences. In addition, we have a taste for human body movement in any of its expressions and preferably we practice a sport, art or hobby related to movement.
We have a vocation for Physiotherapy and movement science, we are citizens interested in the national reality, sensitive to human needs and committed to the human and social development of people with disabilities.
You must show interest in problems related to health, and have a vocation for service.
In the nursery we create spaces for approaching the Physiotherapy career, facilitating our applicants to identify the different fields of action, areas of action and areas of work and occupational performance of the physiotherapist.
We will provide virtual and face-to-face elements for the applicant to learn about the importance of physiotherapy as a profession of health sciences, movement analysis
of the human body, the treatments applied by a physiotherapist, the physiology of exercise, biomechanics, sports and the specialties of the physiotherapist in Colombia and in the world.
Our physiotherapy hotbed is virtual, with a face-to-face visit to the faculty laboratories at the Poblado and Sabaneta campuses.
You will be able to formulate physiotherapeutic diagnoses of patients, considering their needs and the context, in the cardiovascular, respiratory, neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and tegumentary areas.
You will have skills to perform comprehensive treatments to patients to optimize their functionality and promote social participation, supported by scientific evidence and considering the diagnosis for the design and implementation of an intervention program.
You will integrate interdisciplinary work teams with management and administration tools.
You will participate in research processes aimed at the renovation or construction of physiotherapy.
You will contribute from your knowledge in communities of interest according to the vulnerability analysis and health needs to improve the quality of life.

In order to graduate you must:
1. Approve all the subjects of the study plan and the specific requirements for each program, reported in the minutes by the Promotions Committee.
2. Present the current evidence that the State determines to be mandatory.
3 . Comply with the requirement of a second language as stated in an agreement of the Superior Council.
4. Present a certificate of attendance to the CES Chair.
5. Present the payment of the degree fees, established by the Administrative Committee.
6. Approve the degree work.
7. Be at peace and safe with the University for all reasons.
Double degree agreement with the University of Talca, Chile.
The double degree is today a fundamental differentiator within the attributes of a higher level program. For this reason, we assure you the validation of subjects between the two institutions through the study plan that was developed for the graduation profiles of each of the programs.
After successfully completing your studies, you will receive an academic degree from the home institution and then from the host institution; in the case of the University of Talca, it will grant the professional title of Kinesiologist, and in the case of the CES University, the professional title of Physiotherapist.
