We train zootechnical veterinary doctors through a flexible, dynamic and comprehensive program, which allows our graduates to work in the areas of animal health, livestock production, veterinary public health; framed in an ethical commitment and social responsibility in harmony with animal welfare and sustainable rural development.

Our program has High Quality Accreditation for a period of 6 years issued by the Ministry of National Education and the National Accreditation Council, through the Resolution 16187 of September 30, 2015.

The study plan is made up of 186 credits distributed in 10 academic periods. During the training process we address different academic areas of veterinary medicine and zootechnics, such as: animal health and production, veterinary public health, administrative economic, socio-humanistic and research.

Between periods 1 and 8 the theoretical-practical subjects are distributed and in the last two periods, 9 and 10, rotations are carried out, completely practical and elective subjects, which allow our students to deepen in the areas of their interest. These can be carried out in Colombia or abroad with organizations or institutions with which they have an agreement.
