Our Orthodontics program aims to develop with graduate students a comprehensive training, understood from a deep knowledge and in contact between the basic, clinical and research areas.

In addition, with the specialization we strive in the preparation of the resident of the area of teaching and in the training of leaders who direct the specialty and project the philosophy of the CES University at a national and international level.

The postgraduate course has agreements in foreign universities with international teachers for academic and teaching activities in different parts of the world, we also carry out academic and research exchanges, with permanent assistance from prominent teachers worldwide.

The graduate of the program will be able to:

 – Diagnose and treat with sufficient scientific bases any type of dental or skeletal malocclusion in the different types of ages in primary, mixed or adult dentition.

– You will be able to treat any interdisciplinary case in conjunction with the other specialties of dentistry and medicine and will have sufficient solvency to interact with specialists in these areas.

– Due to the deep training in growth and development, physiology and early treatment of the patient by life cycle, the graduate will be able to monitor and intervene in the orthopedic management of the jaws of growing patients.

On the other hand, there is a great emphasis on research, a fundamental pillar of postgraduate studies; therefore, the graduate will be able to:

– Design and execute quantitative research projects in any of the approaches of the sciences.

- Manage databases, analyze them.

- Prepare and present scientific reports.

- Achieve adequate dissemination and application of the research results.

- Critically read the scientific literature.

6. Estar a paz y salvo con la Universidad por todo concepto.

The graduate of the orthodontic program will have the following occupational profile:

– You can work as a clinician individually or in any clinic, for orthopedic or orthodontic care of patients with skeletal or dental maloccclusions in different age groups and in conjunction with any specialty of dentistry.

– Thanks to the clinical preparation and research you will be able to carry out teaching activities in any educational center in the different areas of the specialty both in undergraduate and postgraduate.

- Principal investigator in charge of a project.

- Research project advisor.

- His training also makes him ideal to advise, on matters within the competence of his area of clinical interest, to the people and levels responsible for decision-making and allocation of health resources.
