Professionals from different administrative, technological, legal, marketing, financial, logistics, etc. areas, who have a special relationship with computer and technology law, may aspire to the Specialization in Computer and Technology Law.
The purpose of the program is for the student to apply the knowledge of computer law and applied technologies for the generation of knowledge that complements the two areas in business environments. For this it has the Legal Studies Group, classified in Colciencias in category C, with its line of Legal Studies in Computer Science and Technologies -GEJIT-, which is permanently dedicated to the study of the issues
related to information technology and technologies and their interdisciplinary challenges, also permanently transfers knowledge through academic extension, advice and consultancies. Specifically, the specialist trained in Computer and Technology Law will be the one who leads and makes it possible to prevent, attend to and even anticipate the problems that affect these fields in different sectors of society.
Upon completion of the Specialization, the graduate will be able to:
- Participate in solutions to problems associated with computer law and technologies in the local and global context.
- Collaborate in the development of programs and projects to provide new services and programs in computer and technology law.
- Act as a business advisor and consultant on matters related to computer and technology law.
- Participate in the design of information security implementation policies.
- Evaluate plans, programs and projects applied to information and communication technologies from regulatory compliance.
- Manage and direct programs of legal security of information in companies.

You must approve all the subjects of the study plan and the specific requirements for each program, reported in the minutes by the Promotions Committee. In addition, it requires:
1. Present a certificate of attendance to the CES Chair.
2. The payment of the degree rights, established in the pecuniary rights.
3. Have approved the degree work.
4. Peace and safe with the University for all concepts.
Graduates will have the ability to develop professionally in the fields of business advice, participation in public entities that collaborate in intervention, inspection or surveillance of ICT-related activity or the exercise of the judiciary within all areas involving ICT.
