We form suitable lawyers for society, free human beings, autonomous, ethical, scientific, competent in a globalized world, with a solid theoretical and practical training and research skills, argumentation and interpretation that allows them to intervene in social problems.

The program includes social security and civil responsibility within the area of legal training and topics such as communication and information technologies, basic finance and management within the area of complementary training.

Sample of the flexibility of the Law curriculum are the elective subjects of the last levels, the possibility of carrying out business practice and / or national and international academic mobility and the double international degree.

From the 2017-02 period, with the second renewal of the qualified registration granted to the program by the Ministry of National Education through Resolution 04224 of 2017, a new curriculum was approved, as a result of the permanent analysis carried out by the Curriculum Committee with the contest of teachers, students and graduates.

The curriculum for those who have been entering since the 2017-02 period is organized under the academic credit structure (176), distributed over ten periods.

Duration of the program: 10 semesters (5 years)
Tuition payment: The admitted applicant will have a period of fifteen (15) days to pay the tuition after passing the admission certificate.
Start of classes: January 27, 2020
Cost of enrollment PIN: $ 170,000 COP
Academic credit cost: $338.000 COP
*The cost of the semester depends on the number of credits that are enrolled.

Our seedbed aims to obtain a broad vision of law, which allows the student to acquire basic notions of the areas that comprise it, motivating him to train himself as a professional in this field; in order to determine whether or not it is related to his interest and vocation.

It is also aimed at tenth and eleventh graders and high school students graduated in recent years.

In our seedbeds we address theoretical and practical contents of the different areas of criminal, public, civil, computer, commercial, labor and social security law.

The graduate of the Faculty of Law of CES University will be a professional:

Financing
and scholarships

In order to graduate, you must:
1.
Approve all the subjects of the study plan and the specific requirements for each program, reported in the minutes by the Promotions Committee.
2. Present the current tests that the State determines as of mandatory compliance.
3. Fulfill the requirement of a second language as stated in the agreement of the Superior Council.

4. Present certificate of attendance to the CES Chair.
5. Present the payment of the degree rights, established by the Administrative Committee.
6. Approve grade work
7. Be in good standing with the University in every respect.

Social projection

The Law program of CES University has its own practice centers such as the Legal Office, Conciliation Center, Center for Law and Health Studies (CENDES) and the JUECES program; in which it carries out advisory, consulting, continuing education and educational services  that support academic and teaching activities.

In this way, it is projected to society through the training of its students as future lawyers from the integrality, understanding and valuing the differences of the environment that surrounds them from the social and identifying the needs of people, especially the least favored.

Double Degree

As part of our commitment to excellence, the Faculty of Law of the CES University signed the double degree agreement for the undergraduate law with the Faculty of Social Studies and Applied Languages of the Alfonso X el Sabio University in Spain.
