We train zootechnician veterinarians through a flexible, dynamic and comprehensive program that allows our graduates to perform in the areas of animal health, livestock production, and veterinary public health; framed in an ethical commitment and social responsibility in harmony with animal welfare and sustainable rural development.

Our program has High Quality Accreditation for a period of 6 years issued by the Ministry of National Education and the National Accreditation Council, through Resolution 16187 of September 30, 2015.

The curriculum is made up of 186 credits distributed in 10 academic periods. During the training process we address different academic areas of veterinary medicine and zootechnics, such as: animal health and production, veterinary public health, economic administrative, socio-humanistic and research.

Between the period 1 and 8 the practical theoretical subjects are distributed and in the last two periods, 9 and 10, the rotations are made, completely practical and elective subjects, which allow our students to deepen in the areas of their interest. These can be done in Colombia or abroad with organizations or institutions with which they have agreements.
