Five teachers from the Language Center were in charge of the activity, "At the CES University Language Center, we proposed different activities in which the kids on the route of excellence of the Villa del Socorro educational institution could explore learning that language in new and exciting ways", said Liseth Yojana Rivera Duque, professor at the University's Language Center.
Osman Gómez Ospina, professor at the University Language Center who also participated in the activity, believes that the students of this educational institution have the necessary tools to learn a second language. "I found a panorama of proactive, participative, willing to learn, respectful, aware and above all with attitude and desire."
“The percentage of students from official schools who graduated at the 'Pre-intermediate' level, that is, B1, in 2014, was just 1 percent. For 2016 of 5.6 percent and it is expected that by 2018 Colombia will reach 8 percent ” (Semana Magazine), these figures encourage CES University to encourage the learning of a second language.
This is consolidated as the first activity that, thanks to the involvement of the University teachers, can be carried out again but this time with themes that allow showing new teaching methodologies.
